Ineffable

 

We bandy the word love around like snowflakes falling on a mountain.

It can mean everything from survival of the species to a simple preference for some banal thing like chewing gum.

It is a noun, a verb a concept.

And yet, at its very core it is something that connects us to something else.

An invisible something that comes from within us and reaches out like water for the soul. Sprinkling over seemingly inconsequential things. Drifting over vague views. Flooding between hearts that beat with a passion impossible to match with anything else.

It is the attraction between things that may surpass the four fundamental forces of nature. 

An ineffable word that defines a feeling, a power, a force that cannot be measured.
