Good guys

Scurrilous people think that good guys are push overs.

They believe they can lie to them, tell them sob stories, and misuse them because they will be afraid of confrontations.

A  good guy has learned to be civil, quiet, tactful  and use good manners while enforcing his standards.

Letting people walk all over you does not make you a good guy. Weak willed people are often not good guys. They are afraid and fear is a terrible companion. It can pull you into some very bad places.

If you can brow beat someone into doing things they don't believe are right -- that isn't a good guy. That is a push over.

Push overs and good guys can both be very appealing for a while, but at the end of the day the real good guy's strength and character will leave the push over in the dust, where he stands quaking in his shoes wondering what he did wrong.
