Hope

I am feeling very unwise tonight.

My heart is full,  but:

My voice is hoarse.

My ears are ringing.

I am hearing through an echo chamber.

My right ankle feels sprained.

My left big toe cannot stand any pressure on it.

And my wonderful life is hard to enjoy.

I keep telling myself, "this too will pass."

I hope I'm right.
