The apprentice

Feelings float in the breath of a moment.  One word,
one glance, one thought can change the trajectory
of a lifetime.  We are so full of power.  Like baby
wizards we go around pointing our fingers and
whispering commands without any idea of the magic
we possess.  Igniting fires in the eyes and hearts of some
and extinguishing it in others. I want to learn
the language of the heart, hear the truth behind it
and take control of my own power.
